Located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 259 This cozy log cabin offers a quaint mountain setting and proximity to the community of Glendale Springs and the Jefferson’s. Take in the beautiful surrounding woods, cool mountain breeze and the sounds of nature from the large covered porch. Inside, the open floor plan features hardwood floors throughout, vaulted ceilings and all warm natural wood interior. The open living concept features great room, dining, kitchen combo. The great room features Flat Screen TV and stone, gas burning fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen offers dining for four and full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
The main level features master bedroom with queen bed, walk in closet and an attached full bath with tub/shower combo. Upstairs in the loft you’ll find two bedrooms, (separate but open to below) one with a queen bed and the second with two twin beds, both share a full size bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Along the Parkway III is in the heart of the High Country offering some of the most popular area attractions and outdoor recreation. In the winter enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing or ice skating at one of the many area resorts. In spring / summer enjoy New River activities such as tubing, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Some of the best trout / small bass fishing is in this area. Warmer months are also a perfect time for horseback riding, hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway or bicycling along one of the scenic routs located through the area.
This cabin is within seeing and walking distance of Along the Parkway I (Sleeps 2) and Along the Parkway II (Sleeps 4). Combine to sleep a total of 12. Discounts given if booking all 3 properties.
