Location: Foscoe, NC, between Boone NC and Banner Elk NC. It is close to the Watauga River (1/2 mile), near Hawksnest Ski & Tubing, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, and all tourist sites. The 90 ft. waterfall is 100 yards away and there are numerous trails and the old Tweetsie Railroad trestle road is near if you like to explore and hike.

App Mountain Dream hot tub log cabin has an incredible view of Grandfather Mountain near Boone, NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has a log and chink exterior and main floor interior while the lower level has the pine tongue & groove paneling to compliment the game room and third bedroom.
This tri-level cabin offers a large bedroom and bathroom on each level so three families can spread out with ease. Each bed has a comfortable mattresses and cozy bedding. Each room has its own view and the first floor bedroom has its own French doors opening onto the lower deck with hot tub and view.
The living room, with stacked stone fireplace, opens onto the upper deck that you can relax and enjoy the view from the outside sitting and dining area. The living room also has a queen sleeper sofa, oversized chair and ottoman. The eclectic décor includes antiques and comfortable furniture.
Upstairs there are is a bedroom and cozy loft area with twin day bed overlooking the living room and fireplace that is fully equipped with games, puzzles and game table- perfect for the children to have their own little space.
The lower-level game room has a regulation pool table cabin rental, ping pong, large screen television, queen sleeper sofa and stools to cheer the game on. Each room has its own television with cable for a total of six. The house also has AC and a quiet heat pump for comfort heating.
The view can be seen from almost every window and especially the two decks with rockers, dining area and hot tub. It is a short stroll to the falls and only 3 miles to Hawksnest Ski & Tubing.
App Mtn Dream has paved access for all but the last half mile – 4WD is necessary in winter. This is a dog-friendly home and a pet friendly mountain rental. Handicap accessible with limitations (level from parking to front door, 4"-6" step onto main floor, no steps to master bedroom on main floor (26" door at its narrowest point with 4' of access between the sink and shower/tub). Not ADA, but accessible.
